LA Angels concept

Hey guys, I don't put alot of concepts on here, but i came up woth this idea for the angels. I didnt do much at all to the current one, but to me it looks like this logo was trying to resemble the one used in the 70's and 80's. This meant to me they needed more blue on the uniform so it could better resemble the uniforms in that era (hence the Rod Carew description) anyway, here's the "more blue/Rod Carew inspired" concept for the Los Angeles Angels of Anahiem of California of the United States of America of (you get it........)

I like these a lot. A good mix of the past and present.

I know Gene Autry's favorite color was red, but you'd think the Angels would have emphasized the red when he was alive. Also, as I've said before, you think of red and you think of the opposite of angels. A team called the Angels needs more blue than the Los Angeles Angels of Anahem show.

I like it a lot.

One small thing is I'd still like to see maybe the Los Angeles emphasized more, maybe making a new hat logo with the L from Angels, and using the Angels script to make it roads say Los Angeles.

But outside of that, a definite improvement over the currents, which can be way too bright at times.
