The Dolphins are to thank fro this for forgetting what the draft is to be used for and easting Ricky Williams Magic Brownies.

Horrible day to be a Dolphin fan.

As for the Browns they now have a foundation, a few good receivers good QB, good lineman0

As a Dolphins fan, I agree

Okay, so instead of hearing about the Chiefs possibilities for their pick, I get to see a Brady Quinn interview?

ESPN's been waiting ALL DAY for this to happen. They are gonna ride that train until the wheel falls off.

Trade details:

Cleveland gets pick number 22 (Brady Quinn). Dallas gets pick number 36 and Cleveland's 2008 first round pick.

Smart move by Cleveland there. They get a franchise Offencive Lineman, as well as a (probable) franchise Quarterback in a trade for really a bag of jockstraps.

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008

So now who the Chiefs gon take?

I can very clearly see Joe Staley being taken here, since Will Shields AND WIllie Roaf is gone, and Kyle Turley just ain't work out.

The Chiefs need O-line help...especially if we now gon be seeing Mr. Brodie Croyle, the pride of the U. of Alabama, taking snaps from behind that line a little bit more regularly this season. Dude ain't that big, so they BETTER NOT let him get beat up back there, or he won't survive very long.

Dude was pretty good for the Tide in his college days; let's see what happens here.

Can these folks please SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT BRADY QUINN???

The pick is in...

...Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU.

I guess Croyle now has someone to throw the ball to.

They've needed a REAL wide receiver for 5 years. They had better pick a lineman in Round 2 though.

Brandon Meriweather, of Miami.

He of the helmet-swinging infamy from the UM-FIU debacle.

Merriweather's got massive amounts of talent, but all he was known for was his part in that brawl.

But I bet $5 that he will somehow be transformed into a model citizen in New England.

2 straight years of no Super Bowl, yet people act like the Pats have won the past 5. Jeezus.

I know, right?

I mean, three in a row is an amazing feat, don't get me wrong, but um uh...yeah--damn.
