tBBP
Thomas over Quinn? Wow, thats gotta hurt wonderboy's ego just a lil bit......Brady Quinn is this year's Matt Leinart. (Look for the cellphone by about pick #6, if not the next one...)If this don't pan out, this will be WHY the Cleveland Browns will continue to toil in futility. I mean...wonderboy made it KNOWN he WANTED to play in Cleveland. How many people outside of Joe Jurevicious have EVER said that?Okay...well now my boys is up. Now, it's known Jon Gruden LOVES Adrian Peterson AND Brady Quinn...and it wouldn't surprise me one ioda if that knucklehead went and snagged up either of those two instead of Gaines Adams or some other D-line help, which is what we REALLY need. (We REALLY need CJ, but...)Okay, let's see how this plays out here...If we pick Quinn i wont freak right away, because he would still be good trade bait to Detroit, but if we trade down ill lose my freaking mind. Ill come pick you up so we can head down to Tampa to join the angry mob wanting Allen's head.Yeah, I could see how Brady Quinn could be trade bait...but still...Okay, let's see what the Buccaneers do here.*EDIT*With the fourth pick of the 2007 NFL draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pick......Gaines Adams! *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
FiddySicks
Gaines Adams to Tampa Bay. Ok, I can dig that. Now lets see if we swing a trade. Eye
Ok, I just logged on here, and I forgot the draft was today until I saw this thread. So the Browns took Joe Thomas. Now I pose this question to you guys. WHAT THE IS GOING ON!? Yes, Thomas is one of the best OTs to come out in a long time as ThaFlame pointed out, but my boys needed a QB. Thomas may pan out and be amazing, but with average (or slightly above average) QBs in Charlie Frye and Derek Anderson we desperately needed a QB. I don't think anyone can make the argument that you're going to get drastically better by drafting an OT over a QB. Who will Joe Thomas be protecting? Frye and/or Anderson. I like those two guys, but I think the Browns could have greatly improved in that position by drafting Quinn. Heck, I even saw the folks at ESPN show Quinn as a youngster in Browns gear, jeez. And to think I was actually getting pumped about Cleveland Browns football this year. <sigh>-E.A.R.
RyanB06
Brady Quinn 2007 = Matt Leinart 2005You are aware that Leinart was drafted last year, right?Oops. Wasn't sure if it was '05 or '06. That'll teach me to do research before I post! hormone
Gaines Adams. While in no way is a CJ or worth a #4, at least it's not Brady Quinn. ....CJ for Adams and Kelly or Rice?? Stay tuned.
TFoA
Quinn's going to Miami. I can almost guarantee that, because nobody in their right mind under them is going to draft a QB, unless they're using it as trade bait.
Nick 1733
Arizona needs an offensive lineman, so a trade down would be logical. I'm hoping it's with the Broncos, then Denver can go and get Amobi. MLB, NBA, NFL & NHL Font Packs

So it'd actually be a good thing if they get Adams or Peterson. So yeah, you can chill out with all them spear-threats Bucco. EDIT: Adams is getting a call...Bucs taking him?EDIT 2: Yup. Gaines Adams is going to Tampa. Which means that they're trying to build that D-Line, which means that CJ is not going to Tampa Bay. All and all, a victory for the rest of the NFC South already.Okay, I can go with that. The D-line DO need help. And oh btw, I done put that spear up for now...you're safe. Depending on how this whole debacle pans out, I may have an even better target for that spear...and his initials are B.A.Well...let's see what the Cardinals do, while I keep an eye turned towards (and a very fervent prayer burning for) a trade for CJ...*EDIT*: I didn't even think of Simeon Rice possibly being thrown into the mix...that's entirely possible. So...can we see CJ for Gaines Adams or Simeon Rice, Brian Kelly, and one or both 2nd-rounders? Let's see (and for us Buc boys, hope)... *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
Seadragon76
It maybe too high, but I think Arizona lands Levi Brown with this pick. I mean, they wanted Joe Thomas but Cleveland beat them to the punch.Think about it. They need to protect Matt Leinart and help bulid holes for the Edge. Levi could help big time.Speaking of which, the Cards do take Levi Brown!

DG_ThenNowForever
One of my favorite aspects of the NFL Draft is watching all of the teams outsmart themselves. They all get too clever by half and miss the obvious, best choices.Seriously, Joe Thomas? 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
tBBP
Levi Brown to the Cardinals. This one has Russ Grimm's paw prints all over it.Good move Arizona. GOOD MOVE!!!So now it's the 'Skins. Since that Lance Briggs trade didn't work out (yet), might we see the LB from Ole' Miss (or was it MS State) going off the board with this pick??? *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
TFoA
They needed help on the O-Line sorely. Very good pick for the Cards. And B, the LB's from Ole Miss. My beloved Bulldogs haven't had a good linebacker since ever.
Seadragon76
Patrick Willis to Washington makes sense... it makes so much sense that it makes my head hurt. That team was awful on defense a year ago. BCBoy
Laron Landry just got a phone call...might be the Redskins calling...I laughed when I heard that Snyder wanted Ginn Jr. at #6! Okoye should be the pick if it's not Landry.
TFoA
Yeah it look like Landry is the pick. Falcons have to be pissed. Sorry Flame. You damn right I'm pissed.More like shocked and confused. The Redskins have made no inkling whatsoever that they wanted Laron Landry, and yet they sit here and draft the guy?! I know they needed a defensive player, but I had no idea that they were gonna pick him. So yeah, that's our #1 guy already gone.Next on the list:Levi Brown, Leon Hall, or Amobi Okoye. I'd be happy with either one of those guys. But damn I thought Landry was gonna be a slam damn dunk for us. For the third time in 2 hours, I am highly dissappointed.
