lilgump
I like how they had some guy take off AP's nike pin before he went up to the stand, too bad we all saw it while he was in the greenroom. GFB
Wow. This draft has been....Wow.(1) Russell. Oakland had to take their QB. Hopefully they don't ruin him by playing him right away....(2) CJ. I called it from the beginning. We got the best value and the best player in the draft.(3) Thomas. Woah. I pretty much fell off my chair. It's not a BAD pick, but I would have gone with Quinn or Peterson.(4) Adams. The Bucs were in a tough spot. #4 was too high for him in my opinion (I thought Landry was the better player), but the Yuckaneers were between a rock and a hard place, so they went with need.(5) Brown. A big reach in my opinion, but they went with need also. Thomas off the board really screwed them.(6) Landry. The best defensive player in my mind at #6 is a great pick. Redskin fans should be thrilled.(7) Peterson. They put alot of money into Chester Taylor, but Peterson was too good of a prospect to pass up. Too bad the Leos will have to go up against him twice a year.So far I am 5-7, I had Quinn to the Browns and Thomas to the Cards. Those stupid Browns messed me up. Very, very good pick. Now, for your sake, and for the sake of the Falcons, let's hope THIS Jamaal Anderson sticks around for a while and doesn't tear anything. Twice. And becomes something real big for the Falcons. That lasts.(For the record, I LOVED the previous Jamal Anderson--remember, the running back, for those of you who forgot?) *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
TFoA
Led the SEC in sacks. If you lead the SEC in anything then you're gonna be pretty good in the NFL. I still say this was a solid pick. Definitely not who I would've picked (which is why I'm no NFL GM) but for what it's worth, and having the #1 guy we wanted gone, it's a pretty good pick. Not excellent, but pretty good.(and who could forget Jamal Anderson? Led us to the Super Bowl and helped to invent the greatest TD dance of all time: The Dirty Bird.)
