mania Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2857332So far, Goodell to me has done a great job in addressing the issues the NFL has, and this is another example. Concussions can be a scary, scary thing if they're not treated right, and there are times I think that teams don't do enough for their players well-beings, if it means they might lose another game or two. Mac the Knife Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 I might be wrong about this (and actually, I hope I am), but Goodell seems like a lightweight to me, trying to be a little butch to make his own mark and get out from the shadow of his predecessors.I applaud him for what he's doing, but the guy just seems kind of milquetoast to me, if you know what I mean.
Fyrwulf Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 He probably is trying to make his own mark, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. I also don't think he's soft, but we'll see.
