NJTank Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 I cant wait til the Mets get another shot at him, he si in the NL baby. He wont get away with his head huntiung any more. My prediction he will fail in Houston, he gave everything he had last year and now he wont be quite as good, and having to hit will ctach up with him by June. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Ez Street Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 This is the best thing to happen in a while. Baseball sure is getting a lot of PUB in the heart of Football Season this year. @DavidStreeter
NJTank Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 Wow, Roger is quite amazing. He managed to s*** on the Sox and the Yankees in the same career. This has to be some kind of record. Looks like he's going in the hall as a Blue Jay.Acyually he s*** on the Jays too. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

See Red Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 I actually agree with JQK... What a d*** Clemens is -- not that I ever liked him.
slapshot Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 There's a reaosn I refer to him as Fat Bastard....and now you know.Maybe in two years he'll decide he wants to play for Texas, because (it's closer to the colors I started out playing in), just like Toronto and New York were "closer to Texas where I'm from...)No one is questioning his ability to play (he still has the heat), but he definitely is a big d---head for coming out of "retirement" (really, the off-season for a non-championship team).Let's see if Al Leiter can throw one a little closer to his ass. Or his head. Both are big enough, can't miss them now. Back-to-Back Fatal Forty Champion 2015 & 2016
CC97 Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 This is great, now you know how it feels Yankee fans... we get this sort of thing every season up here, usually in several sports. --- Chris Creamer Founder/Editor, SportsLogos.Net "The Mothership" • News • Facebook • X/Twitter • Instagram
jkrdevil Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 To me as a Yankee fan Clemens in an Astro uniform isn't as bad as Pettitte.Stienbrenner is an A**HOLE. His growing involvement in the team has hurt. The World Championship teams were built when he was suspended. The only way I see the Yankees winning a World Series again is if Stienbrenner get suspended again or dies.
yh Posted January 12, 2004 Posted January 12, 2004 We in St. Louis are just grateful that we don't have to waste our summer worrying about a pennant race this year. Going to a baseball game will simply be a diversion rather than an emotional investment this season since it just won't matter.

The only way I see the Yankees winning a World Series again is if Stienbrenner get suspended again or dies.George shoudl just use bank roll and get out of everything else he made life miserable for teh team this year and I think thats why Pettite left. Look at the way he treat Jeter, who is not a party animal, he publically criticzed himHe constinltley hoverred over Torre, and almost gave Zimmer a corinary. And he has done several things that annoyed Pettite iincluding yelling at him for his 7yr old wearing a Mets cap, which happened to be for his little team and not the team in QUeens, buts its thiungs like taht that are causing the Yankees dynasty to slowly crumple again. If George dont watch out it will be the 80s all over again. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
zer0dotcom Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 well, I always like to see a guy play for his hometown team, but hey, this is what Roger has done in the past, I'm not surprized. I was so pumped when the Jays got him, he won two Cy Young awards, and then he got traded cause he didn't want to play here anymore. Well Screw you too Roger! I didn't believe he'd retire once the Astros rumours started swirling around..
KingGoose Posted January 13, 2004 Posted January 13, 2004 First off Who cares about the Yankes, So what if they lost him the man was going to Retire, Next Come on dude, HANG up the GLOVE And go home spend time with the Family, and sit back and wait till it's your time to be in the HALL OF FAME At lease we was there, where was St. Louis, Dallas, Philly, Kansas City, Green Bay, Tenn, Seahawks, Denver, Indy, and the Ravens
