NorthStar74
I wonder, now that I know that the Hershey Bears will meet the Hamilton Bulldogs, would that the Calder Cup Finals be shown on tv if so?? I might be eager to see some... I jsut wanted to know and I did check the AHL.com for anything for tv games and did check TSN.ca and Sportsnet.ca for that tv schedule but nothing.. any help would be good... slapshot
Aside from local TV, I haven't ever seen a Calder Cup Finals game broadcast nationally. Not even Center Ice picks it up.I remember NESN showed some of the 1999 Calder Cup between Providence and Rochester, and I think FSN New England showed a game or two of Hartford's run a year or two after that, but aside from the All-Star festivities, the AHL doesn't get much national exposure. Hamilton's got some mighty fine defense. Shumway
I'll more than likely catch games in Hershey, as a former season ticket holder(well, only the NHL lockout season, but hey, it counts). I'll definitely bring the camera, as hopefully I'll get 2nd row seats like on opening night.B-E-A-R-S, Bears, Bears, Bears. WOOOOOOO!
Shumway
I was unable to go to last night's game 1 of the finals, but tonight, my friend told me we've got 2nd row seats behind Hershey's bench. I should have plenty of pictures.
