Kinda reminds me of the Orlando Breakers from the show coach.

Amazing, that was my first thought as well...so don't go with a yellow and black color scheme.

Honestly, I like color scheme #3, it allows for the ball to be orange, as well as the O, then the water would have two tones in it. or the ball could be orange, the O could be midnight blue, and the ocean could be ocean blue. it is the only color scheme i see really working for you.

I encountered this problem myself when trying to come up with a soccer badge for a team called the Breakers. Your actual work is great as usual though.

I have to disagree with you there. While it has a similar theme, I don't think it looks like any of those. Based on the name of the team, what else could the logo look like?

And I will second the motion that the name made me think of the comedy "Coach". Hayden Fox would have loved this logo. Good work.
