Like the NBA, but the Division winners are seeds 1-3, I think this is different in the NBA, everything except that is like the NBA, 7-7-7-7 games, and the teams are re-seeded after each round.

NBA does not re-seed. Case in point, the West Semifinals has PHX (2) playing SA (3), while the others series was UT (5) playing GSW (8).

NHL:

- Top 8 in each conference

- Division winners seeded 1-3

- Best of 7 games each round

- Highest seed gets home ice advantage (not necessarily better record)

- After the first round, the highest remaining seed in each conference plays the lowest remaining seed, while the other two play

NBA:

- Top 8 in each conference

- Division winners and best non-division winner seeded 1-4 according to record (new for 2007)

- Best of 7 games each round

- Team with better record gets home court advantage (not necessarily higher seed)

- Second round matchups are set: winner 1/8 v winner 4/5, winner 2/7 v winner 3/6

Does that cover it?
