My opinion may or may not be the same as yours. The choice is up to you.

Not bad there, RC.  I like the second one, with the red armbands on the sleeves.

On a related note, I saw a bit of a picture of the Caps in the paper today...did they change their road unies slightly?  The arm stripes looked a little different than they used to...more of a metallic gold, with the angled stripes rather than straight across.  Or have they always been like that?

I agree with JQK regarding the format, but the logo is just not my thing.  I grew up in the 70's so my sentimental tastes have always leaned toward the retro.  I would love it if someone would attempt to update the Caps' original logo (ok, it's more a wordmark than a logo) and graft it on to that sweater.  Roger, care to take a swing at it?

I agree that that jersey is nice, however, a young'un like me thinks that the jersey could benefit from the implementation of a nice soft highlight colour, maybe a touch of gold here and there would do.

Also, many people seem to like that logo, but me, not so much. It would make a fantastic All-Star Game logo, but for a team? Nehhh... I guess I was one of the few that like the eagle logo more. Not that I liked the eagle logo much at all, I think a completely new thing would be best.

Both jerseys are nice, but I think #4 would look better on the ice, with the horizontal sleeve stripes, as opposed to the stars running down the sleeves.

As much as I love the "swooping eagle", this isn't too bad.  I agree with Syphi, a hint of gold in the logo and the jersey will make it a winner.

I simply find it ironic that with that old Capitals wordmark, all the letters are lowercase.

I guess I'm kind of right-wing when it comes to uniforms, but I think the Caps have some pretty nice ones right now. They just need to burn those damn black jerseys and go back to the blue ones. I hate it when teams make their alternates their permanent road jerseys.

Rockin' stuff, Roger!  The first one, Capitals-3, is the better concept, IMO.  As others have said, the stars down the sleeve did it for me.  Very well done!  I'll take one with "Konowalchuk" and 22 on the back!

I also like JQK's Caps concept.  It's a bit more "progressive" with a retro nod.  Good one!

I hate to piggyback on Roger's post, but I did a Caps concept over the summer.  It's nowhere as good as RC and JQK's concepts, but if you want to see it, click here.

You are all on crack, I swear. ;)

Thank you, whoever it was, for finally agreeing with me that the dome logo is cruddy.  Bah!

And, Frylock... I'm seeing late-90s St. Louis in that one, and it's alot like a bad acid trip.
