Astros Ultra-Stripe trim in basketball

When Fennis Dembo played basketball with Wyoming, he wore a uniform with side panels with the same striping pattern as the Sandknit/Medalist Ultra Stripe model.

We know it as the infamous Rainbow Guts jersey of the Houston Astros (1975-1987).

Yep, count up from the bottom: 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 2, 1.

It's also the same striping used in more than one iteration of the Milwaukee Bucks jersey:

Has anyone come across another basketball team which has ever worn this kind of jersey?

Depaul Blue Demons used that template during at least part of the Ray Myers era

Not exactly. DePaul in the late 70s, Syracuse in the mid-70s, and the 1976 Cleveland Cavaliers used three colors in a repeat pattern. These three colors repeated, and the stripes were the exact same width.

The Wyoming and Milwaukee jerseys appear as if though the SandKnit people needed to do something with leftover brown and green templates for the softball uniforms they marketed to rec leagues.
