MrAsterisk
Sepp Blatter says:"At least they look almost skin colored!" {badum-chssh!}And to Mockba:Touche'. An excellent counterexample which I was too lazy to find for myself before posting. There's not much more I can say to counter your argument; just that I think stars on national team crests are for World Cups won, and nothing else. Pandaguy87
Now wait a second, a few teams in Europe have stars on their crests. And if you can get away with it in Europe, I'm pretty sure North America would be fine with it.
MrAsterisk
Actually, I was about to mention that there should be plenty of national teams with stars and crescents. With that I yeild -- the U.S. may wear stars on their crest, as long as they are not gold (as if it were my call to make in the first place). They're the one in the center, and they even haven't been to a World Cup.
