winghaz Posted July 9, 2007 Share Posted July 9, 2007 The Russian national anthem has the same tune to the old (and I might add, classic) Soviet national anthem.You have to admit, it was fun to root against the Soviet Union in the Olympics. It's just not the same with Russia. Of course, the nightmares of being nuked by the Soviets are no longer there. I'd say that's a pretty good tradeoff.
