JQK
The Big O.... cool cartoon on [adult swim]Anyways, astroturf is the worst thing ever to play on. When i played football back in H.S., Hoboken had turf that i think was as old as my mother, and i think they still have it. My knees didn't stop hurting until wednesday the following week. Horrendous...
habsfannova
It would be cool.... IF MY TEAM STILL WOULD PLAY THERE!!Put it in Sky Dome, at least there will be a team there....
CC97
Here's Captain Bonehead (me) thinking it'd be cool to dive on his knees to make a stop at second base.Eight months later and I still have the turf-burn on those khaki's.
STL FANATIC
Are they attempting to stay in Montreal, or is this just a one year thing?

NoHoJoe
You can't trust Selig anymore....To paraphrase Bud Spicolli from "Fast Times At Ridgemont High"..Hey, Bud.....PARTY'S OVER!!!!
NJTank
Selig is the worst comish ever, if he siad the sky was blue I would not belive him.
JQK
I think Selig is a good commish. He is better than Stern, and i think Satan himself would rank higher than Gary Bettman. You want the worst commish in the world? Go look at the top of the NHL, you'll see him there, killing the game of hockey.
NJTank
Well I cant argue wit you on Bettman, does he even know what hockey is. How did he get teh job any way?
tmorss9
I think he got that job because he was pretty high up in the NBA when it took off, and the NHL thought somehow that he may have had something to do with it. It must have been something like Bettman, Jordan, Magic, Bird was the way they ranked the importance of people in the NBA. I just wish he would go back and ruin that game instead of hockey. There must be someone with a hockey background that can take his job before he totally ruins the game.As far as the fieldturf, will they "stripe a pattern" into it? The turf in Tampa just looks like shag carpet that needs to be cleaned. One of the teams that Fieldturf worked with in Japan did that (Yokohama Bay Stars?) and it looked alot better. See Red
Selig vs. Bettman is a toss up.I love the field-turf. We put in in my schools football field which used to be natural grass. Problem is... 4 other teams played there and nobody took the time to take care of the field whe it had natural grass... so the middle was all torn up and eventually, th 50 yardline to around each 40 was just dirt. We played there a night after it rained... and it was warm enough the next day to dry it all... getting tackled on that was a step down from being tackled on Concrete. So in conclusion, Field Turf is good.
