Canucks Logo Ideas

Hey there, this is my idea for a new, revamped, Canucks design. The primary logo is simple, its a play on the vintage, with the orca. This hasnt really changed since my original idea, except its vectorized now! I thought the wordmark looked cool so I went with it. My alternate may be a little confusing, I'm still trying to work with it. Its supposed to be the dorsal fin of an orca breaching the waves that make a maple leaf-like design. But im not really satisfied with it.

Anyways, I'd love some C&C for what I can do with this.

Thanks!

Uhh it's a strip from www.pbfcomics.com.

Okay um there is a company slowly on the decline towards total bankruptcy because they keep wasting precious work time playing a game called "weeaboo" which is basically the last panel, where they hit each other with paddles. So once someone says that they can't do it anymore, someone starts the game up again.

It's funnier if I don't explain it but oh well, and it's not a continuing series, it's always random strips.

I would definitely recommend the site.

Nice - top logo is from "Zephyr" line of NHL logos they did a couple years back.

I like what you've done with the logo - solid looking and great use of the green & navy blue. 2nd logo is a bit weak, but still a good stab at it.

Great job -

Anyone else think "Statue of Liberty" when they saw the second logo? I dunno about anyone else, but move some stuff around and that would make a nice Rangers logo.

It's a very original idea, but it needs help. You gotta make it look like a leaf a little bit more.
