The best part of KU's look is gone, and for what? a meek, bookish font that... um... which KU team was using prior to this change? If they wanted to unify KU's athletic teams, better to have the football teams get in line with the one team people actually recognize from Lawrence, and adopt the hoops team's distinctive font. "Start spreading the news... They're leavin' today... Won't get to be a part of it... Joe downplays it a lot, in fact he glossed over just about everything... but the Wirtz's had EVERYTHING to do with the MO-Hawks name being dropped.He also rips the logo... personally, I think if the team had hung on it would have been considered a classic (especially if the team had dropped the Rangers-style jerseys for something simpler).
