APFL Championship wrap-up

I went to my 4th APFL Championship on saturday. It would have been the 5th, but they had a forfeit championship last season. The league still isn't on par with the UIF or AF2, but it's getting a little better. The Kansas Koyotes won the championship for the 5th time in the five seasons of the APFL. The Koyotes are based here in Topeka. They beat a team from Council Bluffs, Iowa.

I took some pictures and videos for my Topeka Sports blog. The picutres are small for my blog, but I'll upload some larger quality ones soon. The videos were better quality until I converted them for youtube.

Were there fewer complaints after last year's Wichita fiasco? (Which might help the APFL on the "legitimacy" front.)

Having three really competitive teams this season will help the legitimacy of the APFL.

Kansas, Iowa, Conroe all were contenders. Hopefully next year they can add some more teams. I hope Springfield becomes a good team and is a part of the title chase.

I hope they can get some real teams in the league, not just these fill in teams who get smoked.

The best thing that could happen to this league would be Kansas not winning the title. JMHO.
