Ben5
http://www.bengals.com/news/news.asp?story_id=6142This is pretty surprising. All reports were that Thurman had gotten help and had done nothing that would extent his suspension since it was first announced.

Jigga
Totall Bulls**t! Wow, Dilbert, how did you reach such a well informed conclusion? Is it because you're a Cincy fan and the Bengals need all the help they can get on defense? Have you been paying attention since Roger Goodell took over? Would you be saying "Totall Bulls**t!" [sic] if Thurman was a Steeler? Didn't think so. On January 16, 2013 at 3:49 PM, NJTank said: Btw this is old hat for Notre Dame. Knits Rockne made up George Tip's death bed speech. And honestly its just another thing that is making this Bengals fan rethink his allegiance.
floydnimrod
As a bengals fan all I can say is......Hell Yes.Now if only Chris Henry's suspension was longer. I want these two f***ups out of Cincy as fast as possible. Mancakes: The Bandhttps://twitter.com/FloydNimrod

Dilbert
I just dont think its right that after serving his year long suspension he doesnt get the chance to come back until 2008. He served his time and durring that time has not done anything wrong. Now yes I dont like all the bad :censored: that has happened between the Bengals and the police, but since his suspension he hasnt done anything that deserves another year. Considering the NFL only announces suspensions due to the Substance Abuse policy and not positive test results, more than likely he failed a recent test and now has to sit out another year. See Red
He was wanted on assault charges in Georgia not long ago, I thought... Good for Goodell. If you want these players to clean up their act, this is just about the only way to do it.As for Thurman... another idiot. This guy has all the talent in the world. He'd be a top 5 LB in this league if he wasn't such an idiot.
leedsunited
He served his time and durring that time has not done anything wrong. How do you know this? Players won't get two-year suspensions without some sort of reason behind it, or else the Players Association would be up in arms.Good for Goodell. The only players that are going to have problems with Goodell being a hard ass are the ones that can't seem to stay out of trouble -- the ones who can't blow a number that's below the legal limit or find themselves arrested every month. If they want out of the NFL -- and they decide that running around acting like criminals and poorly representing the League is more important to them than NFL money, then so be it, nothing's going to change them -- let them become some other league's problem. He's got to work hard to win public support, and ergo, he'd probably have less tolerance for bad behavior from his players.**-assuming that his league ever takes off, which I doubt. Mings
Wasn't it the Players Association that told the NFL to get tougher on this stuff in the first place?
