Hoopskid
The Wizards mainly changed because they had a golden alt. So they changed the logos, and now jerseys. Sixers, they look cool and sharp, but very simple.Pretty much just black. However, it is hard to see from pictures, but guides reveal that a few shades of black are used. I assume it's different material.

bigdub81
new color on the wiz jersey to match the color change to their logo:I try to keep myself pretty much up-to-date on the NBA, especially in the uni's but please tell me what did the Wizards change about their uniforms? Is it the brown looking color that seems more gold like to me?
bigdub81
I just googled their old jersey and the only thing that I can come up with is that they made their brownish gold actually look more like a metallic gold. I guess it's so that it can match with those horrible alternate jerseys that they have!

I guess it's so that it can match with those horrible alternate jerseys that they have! That's exactly what the Wizards did. They wanted to have the colors match so they switched the copper color to more of a gold.I like the Sixers uniforms better, but I still wish that they would have made the red their primary. It looks so much better.

Hoopskid
You have the guides, just check. I used the eyedropper and put them side by side, even checked the values. Here: very slight differences.
TruColor
You have the guides, just check. I used the eyedropper and put them side by side, even checked the values.... very slight differences.Yeah, I have them in vector. There are actually four different swatches for Black in there (not unusual at all for NBA Style Guide graphics), but there are also four different ones for their Red, two for the Silver, three for their Blue, and four for the Gold. This kind of stuff happens all the time - they just use templates for creating new files, and often times there are old swatches from other files in there that get used out of convenience.Never take these things so literally. These "print" graphics just get translated to Production Colors, and then again to Textiles, Thread and Twill for manufacturing. However, if they were going to - for some ridiculous reason - use three different Blacks, it would start in the color guides indicated on the sheet. Which it isn't. Hoopskid
Hey, I understand you. I know you're right, and I fully agree. The NBA does some weird stuff, I have found a lot of older swatches. So yah, It's just that when I used the eyedropper, it should up differently. I do believe that it is just ONE black. Thanks for clearing that up

Hoopskid
On screen they look very similar. They are actually quite different. I believe it went from 876 to
FlyersHockey1967
Okay, once and for all, who was the dumbass who thought having piping and panels on the sides of any kind of jersey was a good idea? They never match up during a game and they just look plain ugly.

FiddySicks
Funny thing is, the slight change from Bronze to Gold makes that uni look about a million times nicer.
