When i visited my parents place during the sox/yanks series a few years ago, after losing game 7 my dad threw the lcd tv out the window and then took a basebat to it while cursing the red sox. i said, maybe the sox will win the world series, then he started chasing me with the bat. He told me if i cheered the red sox that he would have me arrested for trespassing. then there was the time I brought home a brand new sox jersey and he tore it off of me and burned it in the fire place. See Red
When the Red Sox lose I just kind of try and avoid watching Baseball Tonight or ESPNews -- and sometimes I think that *I* care a tad bit too much about my teams.

He and Tank's dad should meet up for lunch..... who's picking up the tab? The tv was. except both dad and tank are on the opposite sides of the political spectrum. In my family its Left, Far Left, and communist left. In an act of rebellion, i shifted to the right. though i tend to be shifty when it comes to politics so its impossible to nail down my placement on the political spectrum. its not that my dad is nuts, its just that he was born and brainwashed into being a yankees fan. Hes just pissed that i don't give a about baseball or yank wank. Spoilers!

BB61
Yeah. I always find it funny when the self proclaimed "greatest franchise in sports" falls flat on their face and their fans whine about it. It keeps the universe in harmony.(And don't go waving your 26 rings in our faces. If the team was really any good, they'd have 30. So there.)
