Looks like a group of fans wants to start something like what the Green Bay Packers have set up for ownership. Seems like it could work. Think about it -- who donates the money first? Where does it go? What happens to it if they don't win the bidding?The NFL (with the exception of the Packers), MLB, NBA, and NHL don't allow public ownership. It's where I sit.
