Lol, some bold bets on my behalf. I see Colorado going far for some reason ^_^ and yes, I believe the Leafs will finish in 5th, as the teams ahead of them last year did nothing to improve and they improved in goal and up front.

Wayyy too premature (insert "thats what she said" remarks here). I kind of want to see WHAT the teams will actually look like before I make a prediction. Who knows what minor leaguers will find a spot on the big team or who may still move before the puck is dropped in october. Rosters are not yet set and things can really change before the season begins. So hold yer horses, its baseball and football season, hockey can wait a little longer. I am not saying a thing until the season begins. I'd rather predict hockey outcomes when the weather outside forces me to wear pants and not shorts. A

I'm thrilled to see my Blues get picked as the fourth seed.

I'll allow people to say it's too high. I don't like the "be fortunate to make the playoffs" part though.

The Blues went under the radar as one of the best teams in the league under Andy Murray from the time he took over until the trade deadline. Nobody took notice though because of the giant hole the team was in and the fact that we still ended up being bigtime "sellers" at the deadline.

But with Murray for a whole year, a healthy roster, additions like Erik Johnson and Paul Kariya...well, if you don't see the Blues as a playoff team, look out. We may not be higher than a 5 or 6 seed, but we should be in that definitely makes it in group of teams.

But like I said, the way they went under the radar with Murray last year, I'm not surprised many people's expectations for the Blues are low.

I don't particularly like to make predictions at all. I pick the Blues to win the Cup, because that's what I do. But that's as much as I'll do, and that prediction will never change.

Too early to get specific but I will predict one thing...

Pens will make it past first round, and most likely second, third is where they probably will lose, but theres a chance. And if they get to the cup finals (might not be as unplausible as everyone, including myself, is thinking) we will lose.

I don't like the B'lose, but the Central's so bad that they'll get enough points to make the playoffs this season. Nashville hasn't totally destroyed their roster, but they've knocked it down just enough notches to make St. Loses the second best team in the division.

NEVER TOO EARLY...

I doubt that any of the Minor Leaguers, Draft Picks of Free Agents will make any substantial impact that will change a lot about what the teams look like today.

Therefore, I'll join the parade:

3- NJ Devils

4- Ottawa

5- NY Islanders

6- Philadelphia

7- Buffalo

8- Carolina

9- Atlanta

10- Montreal

11-Toronto

12- Washington

13- Tampa Bay

14- Boston

15- Florida

WESTERN

1- San Jose

2- Anaheim

3- Detroit

4- Edmonton

5- Colorado

6- Vancouver

7- Dallas

8- Los Angeles

9- Chicago

10- Calgary

11- Minnesota

12- Nashville

13- St-Louis
