the pant stripe ain't working you can't see the bolt as well as you could before on the white pants. the bolt is too thin and curvy and it being yellow instead of white just ai'nt showing up well on TV. If you would do away with the blue stripe and just have it on a white background it would show much better. The helmet looks nice and I can live with the inverted bolt on the sleeves but the home white pants get a big thumbs down. When they have worn the throwback powder blues in years past they always wore just a white pant with the yellow bolt and it always looked sharp. They should have went with that.

I agree. The pants are ruining this uni. If they want the blue stripe, the bolt needs a white outline. I would prefer no stripe as well. The bolts would also look better if they were straight. The ones on the jerseys need to be flipped over.

I just turned the game on, aprehensive to do so because I was really unsure how they would look with white helmets, but honestly I think the white helmets make the look. They look terriffic, im really suprised.

Here's what I first noticed. The shoulder area is crammed. The bolt surrounded by white and the tv numbers along with the white collar just seem like sardines in a can. My first reaction to them on the field was, what they need to do is move the bolt to the sleeve as a stripe (same style bolt surrounded by white) and that will allow the design to breathe a little. I actually like the white helmets and the colored facemask, it works for me. The pants, I really didn't notice them or pay attention to them as the shoulder area to me was bad, and the fact I only watched like 4 plays of the game.

After seeing the unis in game use tonight in HD, I have to admit that I like the look. I do think the shoulders look cluttered, but if the TV numbers were on the sleeve and the stripes moved up a bit on the shoulder, that maybe that would clean it up a tad.

Heres a better view of the bolt on there pants. And from what i can tell they look noticable enough to me. As for there new unis in all. I just totally love them.

Um, they're "noticeable" in those pics because they're CLOSE-UPS. On TV you can hardly see the bolt. Also, as someone pointed out in another thread, the powder blue bolt outline next to the yellow makes the outline look like a different color, he said green but to me it's almost like Dolphin aqua, or teal.

The shoulder bolt still looks backwards to me. I like the white helmet but the bolt looks odd due to the aforementioned aqua effect. The contrast in these between the dark blue and white is sharp but overall, it's still a downgrade IMO.

Really, really, dig the jerseys.

Really don't like the white helmets.

I got my shovel out for the helmets...thery're nice

I don't think they need that white outline for the shoulders...it makes the bolt hard to see from a distance.

And the Sabres should use that logo on their jerseys...oh...they nearly do.
