bigtex
The Houston ones seem pretty plain. I've gotten used to the frivolous blue thrown in on the adidas kits. Could you maybe try to fit some of the blue on the nike one? Also, the away needs white socks.
AJM
Chicago and Revs kits are top notch...love Sam Adams as a sponsor! Very clean and definately could see these on the pitch. xxjdm66
Your concepts are very good. But don't forget the Houston Dynamo new sponsor "Amigo Energy". Redskin IS a racist term, no matter how Daniel Snyder tries to spin it.
Fred T. Jane
Your concepts are very good. But don't forget the Houston Dynamo new sponsor "Amigo Energy".HOUSTON DYNAMO: Originally, the San Jose Earthquakes had been with Nike, so that's who I chose for Houston. I couldn't find the Amigo Energy logo for the sponsor, so I kept the club wordmarks. [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. max
yeah, lot's of work went into that Wizards kit. so what you are trying to say is that there should be corporate involvement in the branding of future sports logos? hmmm, what if a wizard's hat was on top of the "I" in VISA? that would shock everybody.i like your Fire kits the best
gordie_delini
random crabiness? did someone not get a nap yet?I did put a lot of thought into all of these kits, looking at the tradition of what they've worn over the years, and frankly, kansas city's kits have been downright boring as :censored:. As for the corporate involvement, no I don't think it should be a major element in branding - in fact, I don't like it when major sponsors own the team (e.g. the coors belfast giants). Most football teams have a main sponsor that's featured on the club jerseys, and I was merely bringing that element to these designs. As it is, most MLS clubs feature a sponsor on the front of the kit, and prior to the last couple of seasons, featured more sponsor logos - one on the back, one sleeve, and on the shorts. I am, in effect, reducing the amount of visual corporate involvement on this design. BTW, Kansas City's real sponsor in the MLS is the US Soccer Foundation, and they have it all over their kits. I merely changed it to a more conventional company. But seriously, as Thumper put, "if you can't say something nice..." - maybe a nap and a snack might do some good

gordie_delini
So it's time to resurrect this thread, having seen the new Earthquakes logo - here they are with Nike:For this one, I found the Earthquakes kits from 2000 where they had white shoulders and sides, and decided the white shoulders would be a more unique look in MLSColorado Rapids: Here I went for Kappa, which they had some kits with previously. Roma has some really slick and simple kits this season, so I went for the Roma look for the Rapids.

Gothamite
These concepts reignite my hatred for adidas. Can anyone imagine how awesome the MLS would look if Nike was their outfitter. *sigh*Yeah, that was pretty much my reaction, too.... The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
