(along with the SD and NFL logo changes). Anyway, here is the link, its the first post. However, I know that myself and 70 percent of Phins fans (yes, there was a poll that I am trying to find) would far prefer the new unis to be similar to the ones they wore on Thanksgiving in Dallas in 2003 . . . with the only change being to the shoulder numbers. I do agree that the Dolphins could have a better uni design but the past is called the past for a reason. Simple/Plain isn't always better. The Dolphins need something more modern. Simple (no unneeded/forced piping)yet effective. College sports as we know them are just about dead. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process. Pretty soon the smaller schools are going to have to consider forming their own sanctioning body to keep the true spirit of college sports alive because the NCAA will only get worse in it's excess from here Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
arkansasdolfan Posted September 4, 2007 Author Share Posted September 4, 2007 Yum, seeing those jerseys always bring a smile to my face.Also, if they were dead set on doing something radical with the helmet/jerseys then why not simplify the helmet by putting the orange "M" the Dolphin currently wears on the actual helmet while using the current logo on the jerseys. Yes, I know this is an extremely unpopular idea, but in my mind it is better than having some hideous mutated offspring of the Denver scheme and the Avante Guard (cringe) helmet representing Miami.
