NFL Week 1 Preview

Vikings 24 Falcons 20

Michael Vick is a pro, and against a group of armatures, even on a riff raff team of prisoners, oh wait a second I thought I was doing the Mean Machine Game. The Vikings have beaten Joey Harrington before, and they will beat him again, as one of these two teams has to start 1-0 and it will be the Vikings.

Whee! 16 weeks of "The Longest Yard" references!

In actual football talk, both teams will be hard-pressed to score 24 points combined.

Not many surprises in Week 1, but here is what we learned

the Pats looked scary,

the Chargers defense looks tough,

the Jets look like fans will be saying Just End the Season

the Dolphins Offense is anemic

Cadillac Williams needs a new warranty

The Jags may be having second thought about cutting Leftwich

The Packers are off to a good start with a tough win over the Eagles

The Browns are on the clock

The Raiders still suck

The Broncos were lucky to win

The Panthers look to be ready to contend

The Chiefs look as bad as they did on Hard Knocks.

The Falcons are in for loooooooooooooong season

and Tony Romo is for real.

The Pack will not even come close to beating Philly.

Good thing Tank's making the predictions, eh? :P

(Actually, I would've picked the Iggles as well, but I refuse to do so, due to my severe hatred towards Philly fans, by wjom I'm surrounded)

WOO! Kitna, yeah!

It's week one. Hard to say what's real and what isn't. Need proof? The Browns beat the Ravens 20-3 on opening weekend a few years ago. I'd like to revisit the above assessments after week 6.

Watching yesterday's Falcons-Vikings game was like watching old people have sex. It was boring, inept, and it ended early.....

It's gonna be a LONG year, like Tank said.

Guys, it was one week! Unless you're a Browns fan like me, there is still hope for at least a decent season. :D

True, we have an "easy" schedule. I think it was the 27th ranked schedule.

But still, that was a nasty game to watch. The O-Line was horrific.
