Really? Tell that to the Italians, the Dutch and the Australians. Your logic isn't logical.

That said, I generally agree with your premise. Canada could have outstanding uniforms with simple red and white. Sparing use of black improves contrast and visibility, but there's no defensible reason Canada's national team should have black-dominant uniforms. Ever. What focus group failed to realize that Canada has only 1 national team, and that if you're going to support said national team, "kewl" trendy colors really don't matter... since it's the national team and all.
