friarcanuck
The first though I had was "That would never have happened in Montreal", but realized most people would say 'Ya, they would only get 150'.What date was that on? I can't find it anywhere.

I can't find it anywhere. That was yesterday's game. Whoa 375? ... Interesting considering the slogan on the banner so when are they planning to move to Hamilton? I saw, I came, I left. Sec19Row53
The box score on MLB.com says 10,121. Any source for 375? It's where I sit.
pcgd
The box score on MLB.com says 10,121. Any source for 375?The Photo?Teams typically announce ticket sales including give aways to make them sound better. The Cardinals sell out all the time and I always see Red Seats everywhere.I'm sure in the Marlins case, there is some attendance padding.
rams80
The box score on MLB.com says 10,121. Any source for 375?Estimate from a journalist? It's good to see the Marlins still have 10,000 season ticket holders, though. OnWis97
The box score on MLB.com says 10,121. Any source for 375?I googled and the best I could find was a blog claiming that was the attendance at first pitch. I suppose with that few you could count them if you take a few photos--but that would mean there are certainly people getting concessions, etc. If baseball is actually being played in the above photo, then I've never seen anything like that--horrible. Though I do wonder whether it looked a little better later in the game. marlinfan
I was one of the few there. I can see myself in the larger version of that picture. It felt very Twilight Zoneish with an entire section to myself by the end of the game.It was hell on earth. I have never sweated so much in my life.MLBs game attendance is always based on tickets sold and not how many people actually show up. 1997 | 2003

Sodboy13
On a brutally cold Chicago afternoon in April, 1997, the White Sox drew 750 for a matinee against the Blue Jays. Florida, you have certainly raised the bar for franchise failure.
