375 at Marlins-Nationals Game

On a brutally cold Chicago afternoon in April, 1997, the White Sox drew 750 for a matinee against the Blue Jays. Florida, you have certainly raised the bar for franchise failure.

The Oakland A's of the 70s hold that modern era title.

Never mind. I read the post wrong.

The Cardinals sell out all the time and I always see Red Seats everywhere.

Empty seats in the Greatest Baseball City in America?

Ooh, look, another post where Milo slams something with a one-liner! Huzzah!

Doubly great because it doesn't have much to do with the topic at hand.

I have to say that I found it to be a rather amusing one-liner.

I was one of the few there. I can see myself in the larger version of that picture. It felt very Twilight Zoneish with an entire section to myself by the end of the game.

It was hell on earth. I have never sweated so much in my life.

MLBs game attendance is always based on tickets sold and not how many people actually show up.

Did they let everyone move down to better seats.

Me to usher: Looks like there's gonna be a good crowd today.

Usher: :-| (to my friend) Your friend here is quite the comedian.

Me: So are you going to check my tickets?

Usher: Nah, sit wherever the hell you want no one is coming.

I sat everywhere in the outfield. It didn't dawn on me to try and move in closer to the infield. Most everyone that was there was sitting in the only shaded spot in the stadium. I took it like a man and sat in the sun the whole games ( :| ). Got two balls and a quick convo with Alfredo Amezaga out of it though.

They would have, but Atlanta's a 9-hour drive from there.
