BigEd76
Cleveland.com articleFans will vote to keep Gladiators or change the name to Bulldogs. Considering Bernie Kosar is in charge, it seems like Bulldogs is a lock...
powersurge
I'd vote for Bulldogs....but would love if they went with 'Bruisers' instead. But what do I know?BTW, isn't there a team in Columbus? Market Over-Saturation? I know the two cities are many miles apart, but seems kind of odd to me to place a team in Cleveland. Wonder what the Columbus franchise thinks about this move. JH42XCC
IMO, they'll probably remain the Gladiators, but you'll never know; they may revert back to the Red Dogs.

pcgd
I don't think the AFL is quite the regional draw that the other major league sports. I'm severely doubting many people make the drive from Cleveland, Cincinnati or any other major city in Ohio to the Columbus games. And if they are... its hardly enough to worry about.
