jayzcat Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 A big Mets fan here. While I loved the 86 team, the pull over jersey with the racing stripes was not very good. Today's pinstipe without the racing stripe is leaps and bounds better than the 86 version. I hope it doesn't make a comeback.The only jerseys I liked with any type of a racing stripe was a very old St. Louis Cardinals jersey that had a single color racing stripe on a white jersey with the same piping around the neck, down the button seam and around the sleeve cuff.
