The new sets they have came out in 2006, and the previous set before that was the beginning of sorts of the crazy color combos just without the diamond plate shoulders.http://photos.signonsandiego.com/gallery1....250116x0075.jpgThat is a pictures of the jerseys before the diamond plates but after the 01-04 change. They had those for 2 years.I liked them better without the diamond plate, but still am a big fan of the Ducks jerseys and all the combos. The colors are great.That's the 2006 Holiday Bowl. This was after the 2005 Civil War, when the Ducks debuted the design style they've used until now (but with the other number style), and they decided (for one reason or another) to use the Civil War black pants in the bowl game.That jersey top is the same as the ones used throughout that season. Take a look at the current white uniforms, you can still see diamond plating, it's just very, very faint on the white. Also, those uniforms had some really stupid bump-mapping on the shoulders, but it's NOT the same jersey pattern as the current ones. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think a big part of why I like them is because so many out there dislike it so much.I'm really going to have to agree with you. These grow on me little by little every time I see them. That has added up so that I no longer hate them. Some of the combos actually look really good to me. Green/Black/Green, Green/White/Green, Green/Green/Black, all White, and Green/Yellow/Green are the only ones I think look good so far. The others haven't grown on me as much. "Why are they rotating jerseys/pants?"2. "Why are the colors so nasty?"and honestly, I can deal with both. I have no problem with our green and yellow. I think our green helmet is the best thing to happen since adding the Nike-designed logo and font. And the basic jersey pattern - the way the colors wrap around the shoulders - looks fine. It's that silver :censored: that ruins it. The white helmets are alright, but do we need them? Not really, unless we always used them away (Washington State has done this in the recent past with crimson helmets to go with their white aways). I was looking at some programs from the 05 season, and guess what was being used on the pages, diamond plate. This was obviously before the Civil War. Also I have a cup that is pretty damn old from this time that has diamond plate. I mean call me crazy, but a few observant people had to have seen it coming. Either way, its not apart of Oregon whether anyone likes it or not. Just because your same jerseys since they were founded schools don't take steps in innovation like Oregon doesn't mean our uniforms suck. I mean everywhere I go I have to hear about how bad we look, I don't get it. People just don't look at us with an open mind. Either that or they are just flat out jealous.
