They wanted the NHL (which...depending on the day of the week...is or is not still a possibility with Nashville's probs)...and got the ABA...a league which the members of this board have tried several times to band together and buy a franchise.I don't think we have any Hamiltonites...else I'd ask for them to speak up about the local feelings.
