Now it's pretty much just a mega-thread for the individual league signings and tradings threads we usually have. So he just packs his stuff and walks over to the other clubhouse. That has to be odd for everyone involved. I still remember when the Pirates traded Denny Neagle to the Braves mid-series, though I am not positive if he pitched against the Bucs (but I think he did actually pitch against them the very next day after the trade), it was rumored (by Neagle himself, I think) that they traded him to the Braves during a series with the Braves in order to save travel costs. The Pirates did get Jason Schmidt out of it, though, FWIW.Who they later traded to the Giants along with Jon Vander Wal for Armando Rios, during a series they had against the Giants in San Francisco.
