Players in the "wrong" uniforms

Here's a right team, wrong uniform that surprised me. Ken Riley is one of the earliest examples of my uniform nerdery. I remembered seeing pictures of him in the old Bengals uniforms from the 1970s and actually made it a point to look up his name and number in an old Packers yearbook (they had the rosters of all the Packers' opponents) at the library because I thought it was so odd that a DB wore number 13.

And yet, I never knew he ever wore the tiger stripes until a few moments ago.

Ken Riley is one of those underrated players who deserves HOF consideration, along with Denver LB Randy Gradishar. Riley spent three seasons in that uniform, picking off eight passes in his final season(1983).
