You're so right. Classic looks are so out of style. They need to go monochrome and also have a black alt with black numbers. Also, they need to have some kind of side panel that sort of connects with one color of pants, but not with any of the others (they need 4 different colors of pants).

No, they need to look sharp. Their uniforms are out-of-style (and have been for years).

You can have a traditional looking uniform (which is so important to some of the foggies around here), without looking out-of-date.

Use the elements of their maroon/mustard color scheme, with a modernized look. No striped socks. No grey facemask.

Maroon helmet (with current logo), no helmet stripe.

Maroon facemask.

White home jersey (since that is the way the Redskins seem to have to have it) with traditional maroon font numbers, trimmed in mustard. Gibbs "R" on sleeve. Number on shoulder.

Your proposed uniform is a downgrade from what they have now. The only thing I'd do with the Redskins unis right now is thin down the pants and (the few remaining worn wide) sleeve stripes...and keep Clinton Portis away from making on the fly modifications!

BTW, who died and made the players uniform designers, anyway?
