Ok, C&C! As I did with the texans in the NFL one, I created an original logo. Here it is:

newlogo.png

I think it came out pretty well, at least for me.

These are the other logos, the socks being the alt/primary and the words being the wordmark. Look closely, the Wordmark is NOT their current one! It is from the 70's, and I think it looks better....

logo.pngwordmark.png

And finally, the unis... I wanted a bit of modern but not overdone. I know the colors are a bit awkward, but hey, you get what you get. the triple outlines may be weird, but we'll see...

homes.pngaways.png

I will probably edit this with an alt in the future, but I just wanted to get these up for now... What do you guys think? C&C please!

Okay, next we have the Mariners or the Brewers in

Tampa Bay DEVIL rays modern Green(from 2007)

vegas Gold(or a little darker)

Padres Navy

Go!

Originally they were going to be, with an orange C on the front... however, I didn't think it stood out enough and that's why I went with Wahoo on the cap. And with him being the beige color, I didn't think he'd stand out enough.

I think the white looks great, not enough of a difference to make a huge difference. I love the home jersey especially, it just seems like his legs are 8 feet long, lol

That's pretty nice... although I don't mind the simple 'S', I think it needs the compass 'S'. Those colors really worked out great for the M's.

Hey, those lookpretty snazzy. I'm still not sole on the baby blue-greenish outlines/jersey though, but overall very nice.

What happened to my Brewers in the list of coming teams? lol

Anyone have any C&C for mine?

Well, my computer froze while I was making the home uniforms, so I only have a road uniform to post.

I am using the color descriptons from ssur.org, so that is where you will be able to find those colors.

This color scheme is more appropriate than you think. As you all know, before they were the Yankees, they were the New York Highlanders. According to Wikipedia, this nickname was a reference both to the location of its home field and to the Gordon Highlanders (the team's first president in New York was Joseph Gordon). Here is one of Clan Gordon's tartans, also taken from Wikipedia:

Must have glanced over your post and missed it.

Ok for the Padres or Rangers:

Anaheim Angels periwinkle (1997-2001)

Pittsburgh Pirates red (1997-present)

black

Wow guys, some nice concepts so far. I like that Dodgders concept a lot, the blue alt is gorgeous.

Not that I've made a contribution here concept-wise, but the rules of the project are that each time a team is chosen, the one not selected stays on as a choice. So, LEWJ took the Dodgers, leaving the Brewers open. Then he offered the Blue Jays and Rockies as choices. Than EyeAm took the Jays and offered the Padres or Rangers.

My suggestion is for the next conceptioneer to choose from the the Brewers or Rockies. After that, he's free to suggest a new team + the one he didn't pick.

Obviously, not my business, but forgetting that rule led to some confusion in the NFL thread.

New York Jets |3-3| First, AFC East

New York Mets |74-88| Fourth, NL East

New York Islanders|34-37-11| Fifth, Atlantic Division

New Orleans Hornets |21-45| Third, Southwest Division
