That logo isn't even a logo. It's more of "I took word art off of microsoft word, and added a basketball above it". I like the colors, but the WNBA really needs to change alot of their teams names to names which actually make sense.

Classic example: Chicago Sky to ?

I fully concur.

And enough with this blatant misspelling, too(Starzz). That annoys me more than the lame logos.

Sigs are for sissies.

I have a dream that the WNBA and the potential WPS (Womens Pro Soccer) will both fold by 2010.

Why, dare I ask, would you want a league to fold? Do you have something against women? That's just an idiotic thing to say.

Have you ever seen the attendance at a WNBA game? It looks like about 100 people are there. Maybe it?s the marketing or just they fundamental style of the game, but regardless the WNBA is still a failure at this point(especially if you are David Stern, in which case, you have the most expensive PR gimmick around) .When the Af2 can get more people to come to a regular season game then you... It?s time to pack it up.

I have no problem with the WNBA?s players or coaches; I just think that the NCAA is still far and away the best basketball (men?s or women?s) America has.

Nothing against women at all. More of a joke about how great the WNBA is.

But that would force them to remove those nice attendance champions banners from Verizon Center.

Oh and Krock-believe it or not, the af2 actually draws adequately for a minor league sport.

The couple Indiana Fever games I went to last year had as many people as the AAA team in town has, much more for the playoffs. And honestly, the crowd was almost as loud as the NBA crowd I saw there earlier this season.

I had the same views as everyone else, but the skill level and atmosphere has improved alot over the last 10+ years.

You mean the Washington Female Wizards Attendance Championships aren't valid? How many people showed up for those games, 300?

Atlanta DREAM?!?! What the hell were they thinking? Then again this is the WNBA....the same league that produced the Starzzz, Sol, Sun, Sky, Shock (damn, that's a lot of S's)..... not to mention other idiotic single names like Mercury (although at least that one makes a little sense). But DREAM?? What's next, the New York Hope? The L.A. Excitement? Where does it stop? Man, these are the times where I think the people on this board could do the naming job better than any current marketing executives :P

Well for the record, last season the WNBA averaged 7742 for attendance.

Also the All-Star game in DC this season had an attendance of 19,487.
