I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up, but...

Pacman Jones is partially reinstated.

I thought the Las Vegas casino debt thing would've hurt him. But he paid it off, and I guess it didn't hurt too much. Apparently if Pacman doesn't get into anything else from this point on, he'll probably get reinstatement.

Good for Pacman. He's done his time and stayed out of trouble so far.

That's a very very big if.... I mean trouble just seems to always follow this guy. Hopefully it won't follow him anymore, 'cause Pacman's a special player and I would love to see him returning picks and kicks for six

Chad Johnson says we'll see the "reinvention of Ocho Cinco". He says that this is the year where he doesn't "give a &*&!".

As opposed to all the other years, Chad?

Christ, the longer Marvin Lewis holds onto this cancer, the worse he looks as a viable leader. Ocho Cinco's already rubbed off on T.J. Houshmanzadeh, who's holding out himself because $13 million aint gonna feed his family.

Cut everyone except for Palmer, start the funk over.

Well...the Bears got smart and let go of one problem.

Now if they could only do something about that QB situation...or if maybe one of the QB's can do something about that QB situation...

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁

Michael Strahan finally makes up hid mind and retires

I'm somewhat disappointed to see Strahan go cause he was a still a pretty damn good player and for sure had another year or two left in the tank.

Sadly, instead of remembering him for helping the Giants beat the unbeaten Pats, my lasting image of Strahan will always be Favre laying down for him to obtain the single-season sack record.

Or that GIANT gap in his grill.

If anything, I'll remember Strahan for being a damn good player on the defense, stats that are HOF-debatable, starting a dance that would be banned by the NFL (BALLIN!!!), and

I'll miss Strahan. The NFL is less of an NFL without him.

Meanwhile in Green Bay, Brett Favre's old teammates are starting to get really excited about his successor at QB. Titletown, USA may become Mister Rodgers' Neighborhood sooner than you might think.

I, for one, can't wait to find out. As I've mentioned before, the first half of the season will tell - six of the Pack's first seven games are against either division rivals or 2007 playoff teams. If he can get through that all right, the sky's the limit.

Michael Strahan has already found work as the former Giant has signed on to join Fox NFL Sunday's pregame show this fall. Story

Chances are he's going to end up in the awkward center seat (ala Bill Cowher on CBS) between Terry and Howie. I can't say I'm really a fan of the 5th man.

Here we go again. Brett Favre has reportedly been in contact with the Packers about returning next season, this according to a 'source'. ESPN.com

Really, Favre had plenty of time (almost three years) to consider retirment, he finally chose to call it a career, and now it's time for a new generation in Green Bay and in the NFL. I get that he was a great player and a fan favorite, but let it go, people!

This will give the Madden curse a chance to live on. A new hip in Favre's future? Stay tuned!

Until I hear it from Brett Favre himself that he is coming back, I'm not believing this at all. The media can't let Brett Favre go, jeez!
