I like the retroness to it though. 7/10Buffalo: Despite the weird piping and numbers on the front, it definitely looks nice, and I'd consider buying it. 8/10Carolina: Another offender in the "Blackout" department. The inviso-shoulder patch loses points. So... it's a: 6/10Chicago: I'd complain about the jersey about being black, but it's as good as it was before. The only thing I'd like would be a white outline on the Blackhawk head, it looks like it's blending in with the jersey. 9/10Dallas: It's a white version of their home uniform? Should've been green. Pass. 3/10Edmonton: Great. I don't mind the weird collar. Head and shoulders above their current set. 10/10Los Angeles: Guess what? More blackness. These jerseys are okay, so they get a 6.5/10NY Islanders: Hooray for retro colours! The stupid socks ruin it, but not enough to not make it a 10/10. Perfection.Ottawa: Really? "SENS"!? Da hell? The jersey is a mess. They should've used the 2D Senator guy instead. 2/10Phoenix: I like the design, but that "road-kill" coyote is just wrong. Still, it's a solid design. 7/10Philadelphia: Kudos to the Flyers to going back to a classic jersey. The white nameplates complete such a perfect jersey. 10/10. Well done, Philly.Pittsburgh: I liked it when it was used for the Winter Classic, and I still like 'em now. 10/10St. Louis: IMHO, doesn't look "Blues", but it's a good jersey, overall. 7.5/10San Jose: Boring. But, the full body Shark saves it, singlehandedly. 7/10Tampa Bay: "BOLTS"? Love the jersey design, but the "BOLTS" and the "TAMPA BAY" ass logo ruin it. Still, I'll give it a 6/10.Toronto: Great work. Leafs management, please switch to these jerseys full time. I love 'em. 10/10Vancouver: Nice use of the "Stick-in-Rink" logo, and great to see Johnny Canuck on the shoulders, but they look like the home jerseys. Still, 8/10. Winter Classic (Detroit/Chicago): Awesome. Just simply awesome. 10/10All-Star Game: They look ridiculously busy. What's with the stars with the years that Montreal had the ASG on one sleeve? If they added hem stripes and some orange to the jersey, it would be A+. I loved their old black as well!It is a lot better than their primary look IMO, if only for the lack of orange. I like that crest a lot more than I thought I would--I wouldn't mind it as the primary someday. The neck and shoulder area is typically cluttered in this new age of front numbers, but you'd think they'd at least vary the colors a little more. That's a lot of white, between the laces, shoulder patches, front number, captain's C and sleeve numbers.The blue really pops nicely, but it makes me sad to remember how good it looked against the gray of the old days, which is all but gone. I just hate that SJ logo. Why would they kill that nice fin logo by having it so small compaired to the SJ. Ditch the SJ. Oh and the Bolts are giving away jerseys? That's a promotion even if they aren't My Team. I'd like to have one of the jerseys so I could call one My Jersey. Speaking of jerseys. So the Kings are promoting their 3rd jersey on Saturday night vs. Colorado. All I heard last night was about the Kings being back in black in their new jersey. So I sat there and thought, do they host the Devils this year? Don't get ahead of me! They should have their new jersey debut against New Jersey. They could call it New Jersey Night! The BlackArmor™ is a decent looking jersey and all, but the lace-up collar needs to go.The San Jose Sharks are supposed to be a cutting edge team, not an "faux-old-school" team. Lace-up collars in general are fine, but they aren't the Sharks styleBut I cant wait to get my grubs on a black hat that has the SJ-fin logo on it.
