HedleyLamarr
Georgia's up by 9 at halftime. Where was this team all season long?
TFoA
Right now I'm feeling pretty good about picking UGA to go to at least the 2nd round. Â Â
See Red
Xavier turned up the defense, got to the line, and have now used consecutive three pointers to take a 52-49 lead. Suddenly the Bulldogs who were hitting everything can't hit much of anything. What a great game, so far, but I think Xavier pulls away from here. rams80
Nice run by Georgia....but ultimately Xavier was too much. HedleyLamarr
Looks like Winthrop forgot that there are two halves in a game. Their guys need to enroll in Harrick Jr's "Principles and Strategies in Basketball 101"....
rams80
Duke cannot buy a basket....but, wow, bad throw there by Belmont. *takes Coach K to the Casino* On 8/1/2010 at 4:01 PM, winters in buffalo said: You manage to balance agitation with just enough salient points to keep things interesting. Davey
Wow, what a great game between Belmont and Duke. It would of been a great upset for Belmont to take Duke out , even thought it wouldn't be the first for them. But dam what a game, great effort by Belmont, I was hoping they pull it off. ShinyHubCaps
So, only two seeded upsets and a bunch of blowouts......that kinda sucked.....And one of those upsets was 8-9. Hopefully tomorrow is better. And I picked the wrong 9-8. Last year sucked, because there were 5 total first-round upsets, and 3 of them were 9-8 (the others were 11-6).I was able to watch the games at Buffalo Wild Wings, which included Marquette pulling it out against Joe Crawford and some other guys wearing similar-colored shirts (and a lot of Marquette fans were there to cheer when anything happened) and Xavier's comeback. I did the same thing last year to watch Maryland stave off Davidson and protect my bracket. All in all, good tournament so far despite the lack of upsets. HedleyLamarr
All in all, good tournament so far despite the lack of upsets. It hasn't been all that good so far. Only 6 of the 16 have been competitive towards the end of the game....
