NJTank Posted February 15, 2004 Share Posted February 15, 2004 My life was not involved in sports until late, although since I was born in the birthplace of basektball I was alwys a fan of the NBA. Closely tied with President Kennedy I served as Postmaster General. My expiernce in politics was helpful as I became NBA Commissioner in 1975. I served in that post 9 years seeing the league merge with the ABA, and go through some of its hardest finicial times. I helped create teh salary cap and by the time I left the league was on the verge of exploding in popualirty. Though Im gone at the end of each season players all across the league strive to hold my namesake.Who Am I?
