Pics from 2008 Rookie Premiere

I was making a joke of the fact he was arrested a few days before the photo shoot for pulling a gun on his father.

I never usually post, but I just have to clarify that he wasn't arrested or charged for anything. He and his father dismissed the situation and said that someone was mislead and called the cops. Sorry for that, I just had to defend the guy. :P

Since it's the offseason or traing camp, I would imagine those things happen regularly regarding uniform consistencies.

At least they got the pants right on the Slade one. It's almost like the Patriots weren't sure what the *** they wanted to do in 1993, saw one year of the inconsistency and said "OK.....let's go with the other idea...." :D

I actually liked these 1994 ones. Why'd they have to go and ruin it with the giant shoulder logos and the slanted number font? <_<

Another interesting note from Rookie Premieres of the past: in 1997, when the Buccaneers switched to the pewter and red, they had the helmets done in time for the shoot but didn't have uniforms yet, so Warrick Dunn and Reidel Anthony had to run around in t-shirts and shorts.... :D

Wow. Robert Gallery. Number 2 overall pick in 2004 (correct?), and you haven't hear :censored: about him. Wow. Bust.

I remember he was one of the most talked about players. Mann, that's too bad.

Actually it's quite amusing.

Ok maybe not.

Heh, thats because you don't live anywhere near the Bay Area. The only thing you ever hear out here is people bashing on the Sh**y play of Gallery and Barry Simms, and rightfully so. Those guys rack up more stupid penalties than Martha Stewart trying to defend her name.

I totally agree...the '94 unis were by far, the best Pats unis ever, if not, the best ones during the flying Elvis era. The number font was perfect, IMO, and the flat royal blue (rather than the light/dark royal stripes on the 95-99s) made for a well-executed jersey design. Plus, look at those scarlet numbers (which the Pats should have never strayed away from when they went to navy blue in 2000) with the contrasting blue numbers on the shoulders of the white unis. Just awesome. :D

Alas, this wonderful uni combo lasted just one regular season, and two preseasons ('94 and '95). Sigh.

The guy is GARBAGE, and does nothing but rack up penalties.
