Wow, that's amazing. I love that you took the chance with the Brown color, but the color scheme combined with the logo really reminds me way too much of a college, but I can't quite put my finger on what college I'm thinking of.

You're thinking of Cornell. I know. But, the color scheme would definitely be unique to the NBA. Brown is a very underrated color. When you use it the right way, it can work wonders.

Cornell, perhaps?

As for the concept, I give the logos an A-. My only issue is that in the script, the 'G' is too thick when compared to the 'S' and the first 'I' is thicker than the rest of the similarly-sized letters. Also, maybe you could make the bear's eyes a bit less beady. They should be more aggressive so that it reflects the pose that he's in. Otherwise, the logos are simply amazing. The jerseys, however, I'm not feeling nearly as much. The striping is just too busy for my taste. Also I believe that brown works more as an accent color, but, in the amount that you're using it on the jerseys, it can overwhelm the viewer. I say ditch the brown jerseys, make the red a tad more vibrant and use that jersey as the road set, and add a beige alternate jersey.

Engine, Engine, Number Nine, on the New York transit line,

If my train goes off the track, pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up!

Back on the scene, crispy and clean,

You can try, but then why, 'cause you can't intervene.

We be the outcast, down for the settle. Won't play the rock, won't play the pebble.

I am blown away. I really like this concept a lot. I was half-arse-dly working on a Grizzlies concept that used Brown, Sky Blue, and Silver the other day...I am very glad I didn't show it to anybody yet. The new wordmark is amazing, the colors work great together. This was a haymaker, and it landed. That is to say that you took a huge chance and it worked out very nicely. The only thing that stood out to me as odd is the secondary logo in the middle. The claws are Tan while the claws in the other one are White. I know you would rarely see them side-by-side, that other teams have logos that use colors like this, and that making them White might take the emphasis away from the Tan you chose(leaving it as only the outline color), but it just bugged me a tiny bit. Great job, keep it coming.

I think it's great. But the colors and logo do very much remind me of Cornell, and the also remind me of Brown University, whose colors are brown and red and whose mascot is a bear. Other then that, it's an incredible concept.

I always liked that Grizzlies alt logo; I wish they would have used it more when they were in Vancouver. That said, I think the changes you have made detract from it a little bit. In particular, I don't like how there's still the outline for the slashes on the right side, yet there are no slashes extending to the bear's paw. As it stands, it looks like the bear is lazily lounging with one arm hanging over the G, possibly mustering a bellow as something passes by.

Also, the bear's brow looks a little thick, almost Fiasco-ish. ^_^ And I'm not crazy about the shade of red you chose; maybe it's just because it's up against the shades of brown, but it looks awfully pink to my eye. The backs of the jerseys seem a bit muddled, too; it seems like the logo, the nameplate and the number are awfully close together, and all the bells and whistles on the name and number fonts only complicate matters. Maybe try spacing those elements out a bit more.

The unis look a lot like your Cleveland Cavs uni concept...

I think brown/tan/evergreen (or a lighter green to give off a grizzly bear in the forest kind of thing) would look better, in my opinion. I think the red and dark brown look too muddled together.

This is a perfect example on why the name 'Grizzlies' is terrible for a team located in Memphis. The concept is really nice and well done, but the colours just don't work for a team from Tennessee. Without a city name attached, I would guess this team, based off of the nickname and more importantly, the colours, was from the North. I don't know if you understand where I'm coming from, but I tried to explain it as best I could.

Overall, a solid concept.
