Telemundo219
New PacersMaceo Baston, TJ Ford, Josh McRoberts and Jarret JackWho is the star of the team now? This doesn't look like a good season for the Pacers. College sports as we know them are just about dead. The lid is off on all the corruption that taints just about every major program and every decision that the schools or the NCAA make is only about money, money, and more money. We'll have three 16+ team super-conferences sooner rather than later, killing much of the regional flair and traditional rivalries that make college sports unique and showing the door to any school that doesn't bring money to the table in the process. Pretty soon the smaller schools are going to have to consider forming their own sanctioning body to keep the true spirit of college sports alive because the NCAA will only get worse in it's excess from here

jhans203
Brent BarryI was kinda hoping Brent Barry would have picked his Dad's number with the Rockets, 2 (at home) and 4 (on the road).

Are players allowed to do that currently in the NBA?Or in any league? Cause I've never heard of any players wearing a different number on the road, than they do at home. |Â BROWNS | BUCKEYES | CAVALIERS | INDIANSÂ | Â
ferrousoxide66
Patrick O BryantHow'd this bust warrant a press conference? And methinks Danny shouldn't be smiling too broadly, he just nickel & dimed their energy off-the-bench guy out of town.

Cibivxx
On a side note, i'm shocked Maceo Baston is still NBA-capable.Yeah apparently so, as long as he alternates between the Raptors and Pacers for each season he actually plays. His career is kind of bizarrehttp://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/bastoma01.htmlLook at his salaries especially, that guy made a hell of a lot of money for never actually making the Bucks regular season roster back in the screwjob year. Oh right, some people call that the 00-01 NBA season.

I don't think it happened much (if not at all) before Barry did it with the Rockets from 78-80.
