Fact - the presidents at the Nats games are usually played by members of the visiting media. Two of my friends are beat writers for the Phillies (well one quit before last season, but one still is) and got to play the part for the race one game. Seeing the Phanatic serenading her on Mother's Day (or whatever day it was) was probably the funniest thing I've seen from a mascot.I also like when you see Carlton the Bear's head poking up from behind the glass during Maple Leaf home games.
