BlueSky
A couple of local communities have incorporated recently and established their own police forces. The cruiser designs have both been pretty meh. Has anyone done any PD vehicle concepts? Just thought it might be fun and entertaining. Here's one of the uninspired designs that motivated this thread. You can't see the whole vehicle but the rest of it is just black.
creativelysain
I've done some, but for my actual job, not just for fun. Vehicle designs are fun and challenging, trying to get the right measurements and the vinyl to fit right, it's always a fun project when we get them.I've worked on ambulances, EMS first responder vehicles, police cruisers, Crime Stoppers/DARE cars..you name it...I'll try to dig up some photos and concepts. AAO
Some cop cars can look cool. That concept is nice. But, I could never have a police force as a client. I despise law enforcement (in the suburban area), where there are no real criminals. The ones that are just there to suckle money out of you and harass you for :censored:s and giggles. I also hate college campus police. The ones that are powertrippers. I hate. Now metropolitan police, in say, Baltimore, or D.C., those are real cops and more power to them. Frenchie
(in the suburban area), where there are no real criminals. What Suburb is that??? Utopia or Xanadu? I seem to recall someone around here (or it may have been on a NASCAR design site) giving a link to a bunch of different Law Enforcement Vehicles photos...This Thread has a few nice pictures and a few links to other sites with tons of pictures. @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6

Police-y) and work on a "Police" wordmark, or try to work a shield or city/county seal in there. Stay Tuned Sports Podcast

Cujo
Someone living a few towns over from me recently attempted to deck out out his '07 Ford Mustang to look like the evil cop car from the Transformers movie. Aside from using a run-of-the-mill Mustang over a Saleen (which was the model used in the movie) and the bogus looking lightbar, I'd say it looks pretty good.Street legal in the town of Las Vegas, New Mexico, folks. But even then that's not Fairfax, close though. But for the general population, it is suburbia.
