oldschoolvikings
When did the Steelers take the small numbers off the front of the helmets? (Maybe it happened years ago and somehow I never noticed.) I think they need to put them back on there... the small helmet numbers werte the only (very slight) excuse they had for using that jersey font. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/

ColeJ
It's the NFL's version of the Red Wings non-arched nameplates in the preseason. Not to be off topic but why do the Red Wings do that?it's a lot easier to stitch on a flat nameplate than an arched on...especially a vertically arched one...and i also think, though i may be incorrect, that the wings regular season uniforms don't even use a name plate, but have named stitched directly onto the jersey. metallirocka
Your correct on the wings jersey. They have the stitched on nameplate with a plan font for the preseason, then when regualr season begins, they break out the arched stitched right on to jersey look. They are probably the only team to do this i think.. maybe the rangers?
