NJTank
Did anybody watch the report about Bud Selig on HBO's Real Sports? He got Milwaukee to build Miller Park, without putting any money into himself. His family is collecting $2 Million salaries, he promissed to make the team better, but slashed payroll, and the Brewers collect the most in renuve sharing, but put the least to the team and in fact pull in $20 Million from the other teams which is 2/3 their $30 Million payroll. Now they are putting the team for sale and could make atleast $200 Million becuase of the ballpark they didnt pay for, and they as Selig and family are taking the money and running. This is stuff the Commissioner is supposed to prevent only he is doing it himself. Wow has their ever been a more crocked comish?

CC97
Wasn't it fun watching Bud Selig hand the world series trophy to Jeffery Loria last October?

Puckguy14
Selig is stupid. That CBA luxury tax does diddly poo to help the others. The other owners who get that money put it in their pockets. It did nothing to even out the playing field. I don't see anyone going to Montreal or Kansas City to consider them a playoff contender. It stinks. This is coming from a guy who has both a low market team and a high market team.Bettman is as bad, if not worse. He had a chance to stop these outlandish salaries and did nothing. Tim Taylor (no, no Tim Allen's character on "Home Improvement") gets a multi-million dollar deal from NYR? Please. Plus setting up funds for the lockout before a lockout even starts? Work on stopping a labor dispute, rather than preparing for one and not doing a thing. Pure stupidity.

NJTank
Isn't he supposed to be leaving his position in the next year or so? He was only supposed to be comish until they wroked out the 1994 labor problems, then he was only supposed to be there til they found a suitable replacement, si he was supposed to be gone already, who can trust him when he syas he is stepingd own in a few years now? NoHoJoe
Bud Selig is a good commish, and apparently a good businessman. Leave him alone. If he is a good businessman and commissioner, then why did he ruin the 1994 baseball season? BTW, would you buy a used car from Bud Selig??
