GrilledIce
I do think these look branding from the late 70's or early 80's. If Tampa ever decided to create a "throwback" logo you should send these in!
ChuckDownfield
IMO this is a downgrade. I think the look that they have now is classy and sophisticated, and you just sort of toned it down and made it cartoony. It kind of reminds me of like an Asian baseball team. And I don't know, although I am a red sox fan, being a Tampa Bay resident I think I would be really upset if the sting ray was removed from their identity completely. nash61
Not to be "that guy", but this concept was done before I really started posting here, and I never saw it. Now I have. I'm glad for the bump. On September 20, 2012 at 0:50 AM, 'CS85 said: It's like watching the hellish undead creakily shuffling their way out of the flames of a liposuction clinic dumpster fire. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy. Whittier S
Things work a little differently on this message board owing to the nature of the work. The trouble with bumping really old posts is that the main reason most of us post concepts on here is for feedback so we can develop our concepts further. If it's from years ago, either the designer is no longer on the boards, or they moved on from the project long ago. In both cases, any further feedback is meaningless.
